Hello! Welcome to Midwest Manga! I’m in the process of overhauling big chunks of the website and wanted to share some of the changes we are making.
Here are a couple new pages I added to make it easier to keep track of what titles we got in recently.
I added a New Stock page for when we get in new books that aren’t new releases, but are still new to the shop.
I also added a recently restocked page. So you can see if a book you’ve been waiting for is back in stock! Both pages also feature links that lead you to the product page in case you want to order it.
You can find both pages under the Manga heading on the main menu.
I’ve also gotten rid of the 3 Main Buttons from the Home Page. The 25% off Preorders, 10% off Preorders and New This Week.
In place of the New This Week page there is a New Releases Carousel at the top of the page that will feature the New Releases from the current week.
Then in place of the 25% off Preorders Page and the 10% Off Preorders page with its countdown timers and all the switching around of products and prices to keep up with it. We now have a Release Calendar Button.
The release Calendar button will always lead to the current month so right now it leads to September.
The manga is still broken down into weeks and I will update release days at least once every other week
There is a set of buttons at the top and bottom of the page to explore future and past months
Right now august 2022 leads no where lol
But October is completed and November is viewable but not finished so that info isn’t necessarily accurate.
There is no longer ever a 10% off preorder. It was just too much to go through and change all those prices, especially as release dates constantly changed
Now it is just 25% when you preorder up to 4 weeks before the release date. After that you can still preorder but it is full price. This should make it much easier for me to keep up on this part of the website.
I’ll be continuing to work on this section of the website until we have at least 6 months of future release dates. So till at least March 2023 for now.
Finally the Release Calendar button is just a place holder until we find the perfect Manga Panel for the background. Similar to the old buttons it has replaced
